I have the luck to go to the Masters on Sunday this year and wonder where is the best place is to stand on the course and what to do? I will only be there from noon on and will need to be organized on what to do.

IMOP I would go up near 12. a spot where you can see shots into 11 green, watch them play 12, and then tee off on 13. Take your b-nocks.

agree with bheck, if this is your first masters i would suggest checking out like #5 green, its ridiculous, the stands on the left of 15 where you can see 15 and 16 being played

As a veteran of going to The Masters, if you are not getting there until noon on Sunday, you aren't gonna get to see much of anything, IMO. Sure, you'll be able to walk around and get a feel of the atmosphere, but all the good viewing locations around the greens will be 20 people thick and the stands wil be full! The one suggestion I would have is to go try and find a place to sit at the new hill they have cleared out at Hole 6 and 16. Also, the middle of the fairways wil be good and watch tee shots land and the players hit their second shots.

Best time to go to The Masters is Monday thru Thursday and watch the rest of it on TV.

Good luck!

me and my dad are lucky enough to go to the masters on sunday as well, but we're gonna make damn sure we get there at 6:30, especially since we have to pick up our badges no later than 7am biggrin.gif

I spent alot of time on the hill behind 18 ... so I could see the short game on that hole , the approach to #9 , always a fun shot + short game ... and then would over a bit and watch the tee shot on #10 .... did that for a hour or so and it was great.

I am playing golf with by son for fathers weekend at his school in Fort Worth on Saturday and need to catch up with our group on Sunday. Maybe I can have someone from the group hold a place for me. It will be challenging without cells.
