I've been watching this bio of Arnold Palmer on TGC. It's pretty comprehensive; covering his golf career, business dealings, charities, flying, etc.

I thought it was pretty good, seems like a heck of a guy.

I watched it too. caught the last hour. thought it was well done. Note it was made back in 1998.

I watched it too, it was touching. Arnold is an extraordinary man. I kind of envy that kid, Sam...he's got the coolest grandfather in the world.

Arnie is the man..... no one else talks about what golf means to them and fights back tears..... modern pros would have to be shot with a small caliber round in the leg to show the kind of emotion Mr Palmer always...ALWAYS... has shown... he's not the man...he's the KING , and rightfully so!

Its a great special, and i watched it last night AGAIN. Probably the 4th or 5th viewing for me. If you liked the show, and appreciate palmer he wrote an autobiography called.....Arnold Palmer, A Golfer's Life. Very good read.

I enjoyed this as well. I knew Arnie was a pretty good pitchman, but holy cow, I didn't realize how many products he promoted over the years. His commercials in Japan were pretty funny.

Did you hear the telecast of the first round at Bay Hill. If Sam graduates from Clemson he get one of Arnolds Rolex's and Arnold is going to supervise the first couple years of the kids pro career. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I did not know his lawyer started IMG, and he was the reason it could be done. I also thought how he won the Masters and US Open in 1960 was pretty cool too.
