A few of the lads and myself were talking about the Ryder Cup at the weekend, really looking forward to it!!! Then I thought, would it be to early to start a bit of early banter/slagging with our American friends (I'm Irish) on golfwrx.com???? Hope it lives up to the Hype that it is generating over here already. For the record Europe will kick a**!!!!!

Unfortunately, I think most of us Yanks really don't look that far down the road. It'll go something like this: Person A: "Hey, are you gonna watch the Ryder Cup next week?" Person B: "Oh, is it next week? Yeah, probably" Simp

Pharminda, I think it is a little" early in the mornin" for us yanks to talk about how we are going to kick your a$$es!!!!!!!!!! Just kiddin! Hey We are officially the underdog. I hope the Americans remember to bring their putters this year. The Euros always seem to putt lights out and the Americans don't. That to me is the heart of the matter. Agreed?

Have to agree with you, it does come down to putting at the end of the day. I really hope that it is a close match that goes right down to the wire. I'm not so sure about the U.S. being underdogs though, the course is very much an American Style course which will play directly into your hands. I'm looking forward to seeing how the U.S. build on the team element of the match after the last Ryder Cup.

I'm really looking forward to the Ryder Cup, especially after the President's Cup victory, and don't forget, most of the Ryder Cup team will be guys from the President's Cup team.
If DiMarco and Mickilson bring the game they had at the President's Cup, they're the team to beat, but lets not forget the pairing of Tiger and Furyk.
I think us Yanks are going to pull this one off

I think we need to replicate the pairings from the President's Cup.

If it was that easy, it would be probably favor the American side. BUT what you can't replicate is the leadership of Jack.
