Leadbetter's trousers do indeed verge on the ridiculous, but Poulter's latest gold lame outfit pushed the boundaries of pretentious clothing to hitherto undiscovered levels.

Parnevik has a knack for looking faintly ridiculous, and again rivals Leadbetter for 'World's Worst Trousers' with the full-on drainpipe effect that he favours, but the winner in my book has to be Johan Edfors. Give him a scruffy dog with a string lead, a piece of cardboard with 'Please Help' written on it and a tupperware box full of change and he's there...

^^^^ JD is pretty bad in terms of not being prim and proper but I wouldn't put him in a league with the others. Daly is just frumpy whereas the others are tragic.

Back to topic - I would have to say I'm not a big fan of Furyk's gear, but Leadbetter is probably the worst. Poluter can be quite "loud" and Garcia can look like a McDonalds' employee or Big Bird, but Leadbetter looks like a complete tool. Not necessarily because of what he wears, but how he wears it.

Why pick on Christina Kim when you've got Pat Hurst to kick around? True, her clothing is more bland, but it is just as slovenly and careless as could be. We're talking no apparent self-respect here. At least Kim, like Poulter, has a kind of ersatz flair to her choices.

I tend to be harsher on the schlubs like Hurst, Waldorf, Weekly, Daly, Lickliter, Austin, Hoch etc, who look like they slept in their clothes and/or hired out every last inch for advertising. They obviously don't care what we think, so why not blast 'em?

I agree that the luscious Paula Creamer dresses and makes herself up like a 14 year-old...wait a minute...oh nevermind...

Anyway, Erica Blasberg in anything or nothing would be my choice for best-dressed - Golf Channel instructor Tina Mickelson would run a very close second.

Man that is nasty, and gets my vote. I like Poulter and Sergio, it differentiates them much like Payne Stewart did. My vote on the mans side is TIGER. Too much skin tight stuff that other are going to try because they saw Tiger doing it...and it is too expected. I would love for him to come out in something with some character for once, like colored shoes or knickers!

Here is the difference in my mind...if I see an bland, crappy car on the road. I figure, okay, it's crappy, but the person is trying to get by with what he has without trying to bring attention to himself. If I see a crappy car on the road that someone put a HUGE wing on the back and terrible looking stickers to make it look cool or stylish, then yeah...it deserves to be picked on because the person is trying to attract attention.

In this case:

Hurst = bland car...not trying to bring attention to how bland she is.
Kim = crappy car with tons of stupid sticks trying to look stylish or cool.

Kim is trying to attract attention...therefore she gets the brunt of the comments over Hurst.

I beg to differ - If Hurst wanted to blend in, she could dress neatly, not like a slob. See Laura Davies for a neatly dressed plus-size woman.

furyk's shirts are horrible. and everyone who's sleeves come remotely close to their wrists. (but seriously, elbows. they should be around halfway between shoulder and elbow. sleeves that [borat voice] "hang like sleeve of wizard" [/borat voice] are hideous and frumpy looking). Luke donald knows how it's done. I love his classic style and mesmerizing swing.

Christina Kim.....hands down for me. I really don't need to watch the Pillsbury Dough Girl fall out of her shirt on every shot. Super personality though!

Agreed - I don't mind her as a person and like her personality, but find her choice in appearl to be lacking (in more ways than one).
