Anybody wearing these caps? I was in a golf store in Myrtle Beach, and they had these caps in seveal colors, looked pretty cool.

i have about half a dozen of them, picked up my latest one from finish line. I dont have a brand preference so if i like the hat i will buy it. I think they are refered to as the "newsboy" cap

You have to be older than 50 or have a certain personality in order to wear these caps. Otherwise you just look like a goof.

I was watching Space Jam last night with the kids and MJ was wearing one of these hats in the scene in which he was golfing with Bill Murray and Larry Bird. I thought he looked smooth.

Kangol is a popular brand among African-Americans and has done a good job marketing themselves through the hip hop industry. There are also several other brands out there that compete with Kangol in the U.S. I got one on ebay from a company in Vietnam and it was excellent quality and got to me in 3 weeks.

I don't know the official name...some places call them Flat Hats. I think this definitely depends on your sense of style. I just got one with a Guinness logo (see link - mine is black with thin white pinstripes): Guinness Flat Hats

As a big fan of the newsboy/English driving hat I have to say:

That Guiness hat is wicked smooth....likely the tasty beverage it promotes.

I currently own 3-4 of these hats and where them whenever possible. Any chump can buy a logo'd hat from Golf Galaxy that matches their bag/headcover/divot tool, but it takes some real style to sport a quality lid.

Kangol also makes a regular baseball style cap that is still pretty unique without being too pretentious.
