The clubs look pretty good and were as advertized except the high irons have little specs of rust. Is there way to keep this problem from growing? It appears the last owner cleaned the clubs with a wire brush and the wire brush scratched the face enough to allow rust.

I would rate the clubs a nine because they show a little(very little) play except for the rust. But I'm concerned about the rust.

What do you think? The clubs were advertized as excellent condition.

There is rust in the pictures right? Or did you not see that before you brought?

WD40 and a nylon brush should take the rust away. Spray it on let sit for a few minutes brush and wipe down with a rag. Wipe clubs down with WD40 every 2 or 3 rounds and you should have no rusting problems.

My big concern is the rust. To me the rust isn't apparent in the photo's but the EXCEPT for the rust I'd agree with the seller the clubs are nice and in excellent shape. If I can make the rust go away or at least not progress I'm fine with the transaction.

If one of the experts here were to say the rust is likely to be a major issue I might discuss that with the seller
