A good friend of mine is a caddy at Old Palm in Florida, he posts some stories on our fantasy golf site that I thought I would share with all of you:

Caddied for Lanny Wadkins today. Bruce Fleicsher is a member at our course and had an outing today. Lanny was a part of it and I had him in my foursome. Was a pretty good day! Got to spend quite a bit of time with him. Had 3 back surgries last yr!
Im at a new course this year which is right across the street from PGA National. Its called Old Palm. Ive had Hank Keuhne, his sister, Michelle McGann, Jason Dufner, Ray Floyd. Camillo and Jesper are members, just havent seen em around yet. Having a great time here. Membership is $275,000 initiation. Only 105 members. No teetimes, just show up and play. Minimum house on property. 2 million. Quite a place! Met Brian Mulroney the other day and caddied for him. He's the ex-prime minister of Canada.
We get to play everyday if we want in the afternoons. They even have 3 practice holes which are as good as the ones on the course. The 19th hole is an island green. People play it and leave their ball. Even the driving range has its own club house, with a club repair room and full video equipment. Got a tour of the club house the other day. Whoa...simply amazing!
Lifestyles of the rich and famous for sure. Wont be covering the Honda this year. May get to goto it one day. Florida winters are so awesome. Was 89 degrees today! Actually broke a sweat. Just thought Id throw that in....
Caddied on the Nationwide tour twice this summer and carried for Jeremy Pope at the Gateway Championship in Iowa. Went to Minneapolis and caddied at a course called Spring hill this summer. Walking course only and the members had to belong to a different private course before they were accepted to Spring Hill. I truely believe its as nice of golf course Ive ever seen. Only 2nd to Augusta.
