I was wondering if there are different ways to do it? If anyone has any good ideas I would appreciate them.

I thought you had to be a pro to have your name put on a staff bag?

I was curious about this too...just bought a staff bag and wanted to add my name and collegiate logos stitched onto it, but don't know where to even start...any suggestions would be great.

to get your name on a staff bag to go www.threadmill.net and give them a call. the company is located in Orlando, Fl. you need to ship them the bag and it will cost about $70 to get your name embroidered on the bag. they have done about 4 or 5 for me personally and i have given them tons of business over the years and have never gotten a complaint.

Look in the yellow pages of your phone book under embroidery. Call any and all of the listings and ask them. I have a lady in town with an embroidery store that does golf bags of all shapes and sizes. Call around and get quotes. They will work with you for design, color, font & placement. Don't bother shipping the bag anywhere if you can help it, freight is very expensive anymore.

It only costs a few dollars more to have your pro shop order it with your name on it.

what about Callaway? I'm thinking about my name on a 2008 10.5" staff bag what do they charge?

Thanks

Although I don't have a staff bag, to big for my tastes; I do have my name, club name and logo on my carry bag. I see no issues with doing so; unless of course you're not very good golfer, then some might wonder. Either way, if you can live up to the associations tied to having your name on the bag, go for it.

Your name put onto a bag when you order it is not that expensive of an upcharge. However, having extras put on it, like an American flag, or something else, will cost you a great deal more.

If you can send it to some other place and have it done, I can't see why not doing it. Embroidery work is all the same and done the same way.

Man you are right on the money. You better have some serious game if you want your name on the bag, espically on a staff bag.

I think it is awesome that you want to get it done.

I have an embrodiered name badge (military style) on my bag, it was something I wanted since I was a kid. Cost like 5 bucks to get made. Not an option for the staff bag, but good for carry bags.
