Isn't that the guy from The Big Break? Im not sure exactly which one, but it was 2 Big Breaks Ago. Looks exactly like that dude..Someone help me out!!! russian_roulette.gif
freddiec
Yes, they said a few weeks ago that Don Donatello , AKA Boo YA, Player Hater is caddying for Na this year.
Tighthead
Pull that tape tight!

This is my standard post in any DD thread. I loved watching that man.

EDIT:

Man, Tighthead was too fast for me!

I wish DD all the best. He seems to keep his emotions under control as a caddy. I wonder if the Big Break helped him land the job.
tbowles411
Probably. At least he now has a steady paycheck...
dj106
I think he would be a great guy to have on the bag. He seems like a really hard worker and if you wanted to balls for 5 hours after a long round, he would be right there 100%. He has a ture love for golf and thats what matters to me. Not that anyone one was talking bad about him, I just like him.
mikeweirfan
You could definetely hear him yelling at the ball all day, throughout the coverage today. Seems like a good match for Na though, as they are both extremely competitive.

DD caddied on both tours for several years before he appeared on The Big Break.

Don Donatello, isn't that guy from Tiger Woods 2003? I only know because I still play it on my GameCube.
Tenementrock
Don Donatello? The guy who writes himself a note saying "YOU'RE THE BEST". That was hilarious.

Probably trying to get some cash built up (and more experience) so that he can still feed his playing desires.

I wonder how long K Na will actually keep him around?!
freddiec
Still think his best all time quote was during the break glass. "you guys gotta get some game"

I must respectfully disagree.

"Pull that tape tight!" was by far the best DD quote, and probably the best quote in BB history.

I would think he woud be more like Tin Cup when he was caddying. Telling Kevin stuff like, "I bet I could have hit that shot", or " Kevin that was a great effort, but I would have hit a little cut 6, 'i'll show you on the range"!.
Swingtheclub
Its funny they guy has always seemed disturbed to me. I can not stand him.

Oh well.

I know Kevin, we used to practice together in Rancho Cucamonga when I was trying to play. Now he putts on the green at my club and I talk to him when he is there. Don is an amazing green reader. I have never seen anybody plumbing 20 footers as accurately as this guy. Grant it, it was just on the putting green, but if Kevin hit it where he said to it went in, and with Kevins eyes being messed up that is exactly what he needs.

I'm CRUSHING in my golf pool to this point and I'd like to take an opportunity ealry in the year to let the pool come back to me welcomeani.gif

I've been leaning towards taking NA on the West Coast and I think I like his chances of another Top 10 @ Pebble. And now that I know DD is becoming his full time caddy, I'm loving this Guy! He's got a great intensity for the game, has Don on the Bag and correct me if I'm wrong but just put the L4V in play. I'm becoming a NA fan.

Also getting sick of Tiger Week......Can we get Donatello Night?

I also heard DD has been wearing Crocs on the course....Why wouldn't he!

DD is my favorite Big Break player. He wanted to win more than anyone then and since. DD is old school and winning is everything. Kevin Na probably likes the competitive nature of DD and I believe that any player would want someone like DD on the bag. DD can be a little over the top, but the man is about winning!
bjackson
DD really isn't that bad. I followed Kevin Na and his caddie almost his entire round on Saturday at Spyglass Hill for the AT&T. DD tossed me a ball about halfway through the round. The best part of it all was that there were maybe 10 people total following their group (Andres Romero), so it was cool to follow them.
Baycal92510
hate donatello!!!!that guy is the worst..the first couple of turny's he's been pushin his luck as a caddie. I wish he would just lay low like a real loop....hey don show up,shut up, and keep up, that's it buddy
tbowles411
People may hate him, but I hope he found a long term bag. Everyone's got to make a living.
DemolitionMan
Twice I have seen DD looping and both times his persona was nothing like it was on BB further reinforcing the notion that BB is not all what it seems. DD is not as obnoxious in real life and what's her name that won a couple of years ago is not as thin.

DRGJR72
I wish him the best.....as I don't wish ill will on anyone.

But here is my issue with DD......Anytime I see him on the Euro version of the BB and he tells them to not look for his lost ball, for some reason it irritates me. And then he gets mad when they find it, and starts whining. Just seems like poor sportsmanship, especially in match play and at the home of golf of all places. You hit it there.....go and look for it, regardless of where it is. Right, wrong, or indifferent that one thing really was the icing on the cake with that guy for me. He had some game, but not enough to talk the trash that he did. Guys like him were a dime a dozen in FLA, the louder the talk the less serious you took them. I just loved when he would say I would hit it in there 10 feet, 9 out of ten times, then he would hit it to like 30 feet.....made me laugh. Guy was comical, I will have to admit that, good comic relief.

Good luck on the looping DD, hope that you are able to make some serious cash...that would be great for you and your family.

Question answered, DD was replaced this week only by a local Riveria caddy. Bad karma If you ask me.
