Is there any diferrence between new Bridgestone 2008 visor that pros wear (appleby,freddy...) and one that sell in retail proshop (can not find any proshop that carries locally though)?. It seems to me that the pro's one has differrent material, and looks different and better... Is there such thing as TOUR Issued "hat" or "visor".. Please let me know... If anyone could get new visor, please PM me. Im willing to buy it from you.. Thanks in advance!!. If this is inappropriate forum, please move it, and I applogies in advance.
Thanks

The visors available to the tour players are not available to the consumers. They are different in that they have product specific (B330) on the headwear. The retail products don't have any specific product designation on them

My rep asked why they don't offer the same and they told him that it is what it is, sell what you have.

Thanks for your reply!!.. Darn!! Those visor looks pretty nice... Are there anyone who is Bridgestone staff or sponsored by Bridgestone? Can you help me out?? I am willing to buy one of those, if the price is not too crazy...

I have seen the new visor with the big B in the middle front, with bridgestone golf on one side and b330 on the other side. Is that the one you are talking about?
won0216
Yes.. this is what Im talking about.. white one... Can you get it??
Thanks

Wow...Appleby really needed that hair cut!

I would love to get my hands on a few of those

Yeah I can get those, I think they come in white, black and tan. PM me and I will check the golf shop tomorrow.

You can find them on ebay, also.

Bridgestone reps have constantly requested that the visors and caps that the tour players wear should be available for purchase. But there was always that argument from their marketing dept that said no. It brings the "fan" closer to their favorite player but their response was "It is what it is." Rep thinks that's the new company slogan. He said they can't get anything they feel the customers want.

It would make it easier for me to buy it for my members if more consumers contact Bridgestone and let them know that the reps aren't bringing requests from left field.

Lefty, Is there a chance I can get a Bridgestone White visor like you said you could get?
Thanks
LeFtYnismo
Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. PM your email addy so I can send you pics of what they look like. I already took a pic of a black one and sent it to won.

You can find "tour" visors on various online retail websites. As noted above, they will not be exactly the same as the visors worn by your favorite PGA player-- the visors will lack the player specific branding on the hat. For example, Stuart Abbleby's black visor bas "B330-S" stitched on the side while Freddy Couples visor will have "B330" on the side and Shigeki Maruyama has a visor with the Bridgestone driver "J33R" stitched on the side.

But if you are looking for the generic oversized tour visor look, and you specifically want it branded with Bridgestone, you can find a visor with the same "B" logo and large brim that your favorite tour player gets paid to wear here:

Enjoy.

Yeah, I bought one from readygolf the other day. Its not EXACTLY like the one Freddie, Appleby, or Brandt sport but its close. I really like it, and readygolf.com was a great place to buy from.
