As I do weekly, on my way home I stopped by Golf Galaxy to check the used putter rack and used club rack to see if there are any steals.
I saw a Red X about a month ago, walked around the store to think about it, and 20 minutes later someone bought it.
Yesterday, there was another Red X, red baby T grip, 9/10 condition. It was $129. This time I grabbed it and bought it. The sales people in the store were stroking me saying "if i knew that was there I would have bought it", "what a great deal.."
Did I get a decent deal? I always say, "if you think you got a good deal, then you did".
I feel like I did, now I need the "pros" on wrx to let me know.
Thanks everyone

yeah I'd say you got a pretty good deal. Did it come with a cover, if so then you stole that putter. post some pictures if you can.

Yes it did come with a cover. It's also in 9/10 shape. He gave it to me for $15.

Made you pay for the cover??? That seems a little shady to me. We never do that at my store.

Golf Galaxy has always charged for their covers (at least in my area). They used to sell every cover for $4.99 regardless of manufacturer. Now all covers start at $9.99 and only go up from there with Cameron covers at the lovely price of $29.99.
That being said, I think you got a nice deal with putter and cover for less than $150.

You got a good deal, don't worry, you can more than get your money back if you don't like it.
