The Workshop line from Mizuno will take a blue, after stripping the black off. The other line-up, TPM 8 will have a coating of nickel under the original black finish. If you have it stripped off, then you will be able to gun blue it, no sweat. I learned this through a couple of recent refinishes.
The Mizuno TPM line-up is some of the best putters that got overlooked when they came out, IMHO. I have a TPM 6 and Workshop #2 that are two of my favorites, right now.
Great putter. See if you can find a local metal plating shop that will be willing to strip the nickel and you'll be in business.
If you need any help, just post here, someone will chime in, I am sure.
Good luck, and don't forget pictures!

Kit,
It wasn't bad advice, at all. If he has a Workshop version, you were right on target. At that point, we didn't know. Heck, we still don't.
But, with those pics coming, we'll know pretty soon.
Never hesitate to give the best advice you have. If you see a chance to help someone out, you are doing a great thing.
Thanks for your honest posts,

Adam,
There is a chemical out there that is two parts and will do the stripping of nickel, but I can't find the link, currently. It seems like the mixture was around $50 for two decent sized bottles. If you have a plating shop, locally, it shouldn't run you much more than maybe $10 to get it stripped, if cost is an issue.
If you already have the bluing liquid or past, give it a shot, before you spend the money on getting it stripped. It won't take much time and I am only 99% sure that the base plating is nickel and won't take the bluing.
Let us know how it goes,
