Any one use a C130 on a Speed Cart? I picked up a SM Cart Bag, and although it looks to be pretty functional, compared to the C130, it is not as refined.
For example, the putter tube on the CB interferes with the sling mounts. Not a problem when you unhook the sling, but still.... Next, the bottom pockets (ball/tee) are compromised by the putter tube, and items are not as accessible because the putter tube intrudes into the pockets.
The real question is the club arrangement. The C130 and the CB are the opposite of each other. In the CB, the Driver overhangs the irons, in the C130, it seems like the Driver would be out of the way.
Anyway, just want to gather your thoughts!

I have both bags and have used them on my V2 Speed Cart and I prefer the SCB...I'm willing to sacrifice some space for a lighter bag that is specifically designed for the speed cart and I have never had any problem accessing my clubs or accessories when the SCB is mouned to the V2. While I love the space my C-130 provides, I limit it to those days when I'm riding a cart. Both are high quality and you cannot go wrong with either and it just boils down to personal preference.

I have the C-130/V1 Speed Cart set up and it works well for me. The bungee cord on the bottom of the bag is a bit snug but not that bad. The top one fits just right. The only caveat is because of it's reverse orientation, the top of the bag where the woods go end up on the bottom of the bag when on the Speed Cart. No biggie as I just played with the club orientation to get it to fit just right for me.

Definitely recommend it.

Thanks! The orientation was a big question mark for me. In my Ogio Edge w/ the WoodE top, I was always fighting with the sticks.

Have you also found the C-130 to be too wide for a riding cart? I guess I'm getting a little annoyed with the way the putter tube functions on the SM Cart Bag.

No but then again, I don't have a bunch of stuff inside the side pockets. I am sure that if I put a lot of stuff, then that would cause it to expand enough to make it a tight fit. Also, maybe it was just me but when I was comparing the two bags, the side pockets seemed the same size.

Another big factor in my decision to go with the C-130 was that the base of the was rounder with the little rubber feet whereas the SCB had a more oval base with no rubber feet. I wanted a bag that could stand on it's own with all my clubs in it.

Yes, the pockets are very close, if not the same size (I'd bet they are exactly the same for production costs), but I think there is one or two more on the C-130.
I think the weight is very little more on the C-130, although it's hard to find the exact weights online. Me thinks I will take the CB back for the C-130! Thanks for the input!
