Hi all
Here its raining almost everyday, plug balls everywhere. I know we can get a free drop but what happens if the dropped ball become embedded also? Do we get another free drop?

I believe so. If the drop does not provide relief from the situation from which you took relief in the first place, you are entitiled to drop again. No penalty. Remember that on the putting green you place the ball, not drop it. I also think that if you drop twice and the ball embeds both times, you can place it the third time next to where the ball landed the second time provided you place it not nearer to the hole.

That's absolutely correct.

I'm not sure if it was changed... but the rule to my knowledge is that embedded balls can only be relieved from if they are embedded in closely mown areas... that is, unless a local rule allowing through the green is in affect

What if the ball is embedded in a closely mown area that is inside of a hazard line?

No relief from embedded balls in hazards. Free relief that is.

This is correct, however most courses and tournaments in the US have a local rule to make it "through the green", which means anywhere on the course except hazards.

An embedded ball from a drop?
Is that possible?
If it happens, I'd assume you've got casual water issues that outweigh the embedded ball dilemma.
