i recently flew from orlando to london via JFK and my golf bag did not arrive on the belt. we investigated and the bag was located in a different terminal on the wrong side of customs. upon reccomendation i agreed to leave it and let it be delivered but of course now they haven't delivered and when called, don't seem to have a clue about anything. just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and would know the best person to contact in order to pursue full compensation?

I've had similar things happen several times. Each time my clubs/luggage have made it to my house, once only after calling the # on the claim form I filled with the airline. Seems they "thought" I was returning to pick up the baggage, even though it was STILL at the wrong airport.
You did file a claim right? Should be a contact number on the form, I'd call that number or the main # for the airline to double check.

one small bit of advice .
Lie your butt off about the value of your stuff they are going to cheat you if the can. I know I sound like a cynic but its the truth.
