Ran into this picture of the new 2008 Footjoy shoes. I like them. I was about to buy nike but might want to see these first...

I own a pair of the black and white shoe to the far left....very comfortable I must say...

did you get a pair of early released ones? I dont think they are out yet are they?

Didn't try them up, but picking them up they feel a little flimsy and thin. Are they comfortable, the rep at Golftown said to stay away from those, as I walk about 40 rounds a year, between two pairs. I do love the look though....

reminds me of my ecco's, so I guess I like them.

The Athletics look awesome, bought a pair the other day and took them straight out on the course and they felt great - waterproof too. Saw Chopra wearing them in the final round at Hawaii too which is a pretty decent endorsement!

How did you find them, did you walk 18? They seem light and flimsy to me, were your feet not sore after the round?

They are out. I have the black/white version of the ones in the middle. Definitely a good buy. I have 3 pairs of dry joys and these are every bit as comfortable all of them.

I like that they added the exotics to the catalog

Not flimsy at all, they've got a thicker fit-bed which feels really comfortable but firm enough to provide support. The exotics are sweet, would have to be brown ostrich for me...
