Hello,
I need your comments about golf shoes. Because I got implantation surgery on my left knee, I need soft and comfortable golf shoes. I wore Footjoy E-comfort for 1 year, then I bought Footjou dryjoy pro. But, dryjoy pro made my left knee tortured whenever I swing. I think dryjoy pro may be too strong and hold my feet firmly. So, I bought Nike airmax because I have airmax running shoes. But, golf shoes is different from running shoes.
I know I can go back to E-comfort. But, I want to buy new golf shoes. Can you recommend soft and comfortable golf shoes ?

If you have narrow heels relative to your forefoot, Ecco Flexor line is the way to go. Perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box.
If your foot is a little more normal shaped (heel and forefoot in proportion - one not wide/narrow relative to the other), the Ecco Causual line should be comfy.
But there is no substitute for hitting the stores and trying everything on. Every manufacturer's shoe is shaped a little differently (the "last") and different models from the same manufacturer can be shaped very differently.

my father had the same problem so i bought for him a Nike Shox golf shoe and he`s pretty satisfied with it, i don`t like the sporty look but it`s suposed to be light and comfortable and it is.

FWIW, one of my regular playing partners has flat feet, so had a tough time finding the right shoes. He finally settled on the Contour series by FJ....swears by them now. It might be worth a shot.

FJ Contour is the best shoe for you.

I would have to suggest Oakley golf shoes. Not many people wear them so you would not have to worry about having the same thing as the next guy at your golf course or in your foursome. I have three pairs of them and LOVE them. They are super comfortable and I like the looks

2nd vote for Nike Shox. I have had them the past year and they are the most comfortable golf shoe I have used. I mostly walk and I don't find my feet tired after 18 holes.

Footjoy Contours. I have major foot problems and I don't feel any pain at all with these.

It seemed to me that you have a problem which need additional attention beyond a pair of comfortable golf shoes.
Perhaps a consultation with your MD to get a set of knee braces for your particular need is in line to protect your knee?

I was curious about your DRY JOY Pro's?
I am thinking about getting a pair. I have worn the Contour series for a couple of seasons and would highly recommend them for comfort. In my case I am wanting a bit more stable shoe and ok with giving in a bit of softness for stability but I still want a real comfortable shoe.
Did you find your Pro Joys to be real comfy other than the issue with you knee which sounds like an individual problem that would not come into play with others?
Thanks,
Brad

Well, to purchase FJ dryjoy pro is one of reasons why I hate GOLF SMITH, and won't go there any more. They recommend me Dryjoy pro even though I told them I got knee surgery..

Reel Fits by far. They are so comfortable and look so good that I wear them to work often as well.

I would have suggested the Adidas 360 Tour II's but I don't think they have fixed their tongue issues yet. Mine, the tongue slides over to one side all the time....how I strongly dislike that issue.

Worked in a golf shop for awhile and while I am very partial to Adidas and Ecco golf shoes, I sold a ton of FJ Contours to people with foot problems. Specifically to people looking for a soft shoe with a fair amount of support. I would recommend you try those.

The FJ Reel Fits WERE the most comfortable shoes I ever worn. But that was until I got the new FJ Dryjoys. They are unreal! Super confortable.

I have both FJ Contours and Nike Shox and for me the Shox are way more comfortable. When the dress code permits, I'll go for the Shox. Even played in a complete downpour with them and my feet stayed nice and dry.

Puma Concorde GTX are extremely SOFT and comfy shoes, they feel like sneakers/skateboard shoes but still are very stable and have a great sole.

LOL. I was just in Golfsmith last night facing the same predicament. I wanted a pair of stylish shoes (not my father's shoes) that were comfortable. It came down to the Contours and a pair of Callaways. I ended up going with these. The FJ's were a little more soft, but they were also a pretty damn boring shoe:

I wore these for 18 holes last year and my feet were bleeding after 9 holes. I hobbled into the clubhouse after 18 with hockey tape all over my heels and toes where the skin wore off.

I agree completely. I have the GTXs in leather as well as in the "Breeze" (mesh) series. It's uncanny how light and comfortable these shoes are. Just amazing. The STYLE simply isn't for everyone.
I also have a pair of Ecco Hydromaxs. Very comfortable foot bed.

I'ved used FJ, Nike, Ecco, Adidas, and others, and I think the Nike SP-6 TOUR is the most comfy shoe I've ever worn, even more so than my 2 Eccos.
