When did Crocs buy Bite shoes?

We were looking for a pair of Bites for one of the kids in the family and noticed they are owned by Crocs.

Hopefully, with new ownership these shoes improve in quality and designs.

They are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn and Bite's designs are not that attractive.

I hope so to. I bought my first set of Bites this summer online. Bad mistake. I actually liked the desing, but the lack of lateral support was dissapointing. It was like playing on a pair of ice skates.

why would you buy them for your kid if they are so bad?

You must not be a parent. When was the last time a 19 year took their parent's advice. ;-)

Besides, just beacuse I am not a fan of the shoe does not mean it does not appeal to others.

There have been a number of postive posts about Bite golf shoes. And you know how kids take what is on these message boards as gospel.

I'm sure it will be similar to other decisions of a 19 year old, where they realize the parents were right in the first place. You gotta let them make their own decisions and grow up.

Thanks for the link.

With Crocs technology and colors this has huge upside.

The design and color combos would need to be spot on, but the upside is great.

No other shoe could compete with them.

Crocs don't appeal to me, but I will admit they are comfortable. They have the potential to tap into trendy kids that play color to the older players looking for support and comfort.

Here is my 2 cents about Bite shoes.
I was happy with my Bite shoes. Lite weight and breathable and lasted 2 season. Most of all very comfortable. Just like wearing a pair on runners. Next time I need shoes I would certainly look at Bite again based on performance and value.

Anyone know what are a good brand of replacements spikes for the original Bite spikes (original 4 yellow teeth, fast lock system).

I promise you will not find another golf shoe that feels like the new Bite by Crocs golf shoe. I have tried them on and the weight or lack there of is unbelievable. There is no way your feet will be tired at the end of a round with these on. Yet to be seen how durable or slip resistant they are on your feet but the comfort and weight alone will have a pair in my closet.
