O My freakin lord those are sick. Why are there hickory shafts in them though?

rambler, all of the shafts are steel. i was just playing around trying to blend a classic look with modern technology. and, i thought a leather grip would be the perfect compliment to the simulated wood shafts.

the gripmaster grips are fantastic!!! i think they outdid themselves with this selection. i use a tour laced on my gamer. the look, feel, and performance of the gripmaster leather grip is second to none. if there is anyone out there that hasn't tried one yet, do yourself a favor and get one.

Great job with the shafts Scott. Any word on how the treatment affects the characteristics of the shaft? Does it act like the green film on the old TT Tour Concept shafts (smooth it out and whatnot)?

I agree though, great lineup of grips as well--showcases two great products. Stitchback is my favorite grip as well, but only marginally--I still like the pistol wraps enough to not worry about switching out. I do like the slight marbeling on that tan grip a LOT (between the yellow dancing shield and the brown corded wrap).

Putters too--solid. I really like that the one non-Copper Stix Sizemore is solid faced, but have drooled over all the different finishes that have been showcased over the last couple days. Even better that you plan on making a few more lefty putters. good.gif

thank you. i'm glad you liked the photos. i don't personally notice any difference in the performance. of course, we could do some testing. it would be great to have some wrxers test the shafts and compare their responses with some more official findings. i'll bet the wrxers would be spot on.

Well, I'd be more than happy to help a brother out...just send me a pair of 350 gram XB-1's with solid faces...303 stainless if I had my druthers (feel I'm most used to and as that metal wouldn't hide vibration/feedback as much as copper/carbon/inserts) where the only difference is the shafts. Probably have to throw some Karsten smooths on them--just to further isolate the shafts (don't worry, I have my own supply of them wink.gif. I work for free, of course...and just might send one of the two back...maybe. I'm just here to help. biggrin.gif

joe, the price of an xb-1 with an oil can finish and a copper shaft would be $299 + shipping (this includes the $100 off discount i give to golfwrx members). fyi - the price of the copper stix putters in this photograph would be $250 + shipping. hope that helps.
