Hey guys looking at buying the Club Champ Airporter - Hard Sided Golf Travel Case, seems like a nice enough case, but my concern is the 47 1/2 " total length, I'm worried my Burner Driver that is 46" long will have trouble fitting inside the case. Can anyone give me some feedback on this hard case. Thank you very much.

Does anyone own this cover?????

If you do a search there are plenty of posts about travel covers/cases, and the general consensus is that the hard-sided cases are NOT recommended. They're a pain in the A** to put in a rental car, especially if you take a trip with other guys who also bring their clubs.

Ask anyone here, the recommended bag is the Club Glove Last Bag, or Club Glove BurstProof.

I didn't ask about travel covers, I asked about this one, and I have done a search I have done hundreds of searches I am the F'n KING OF SEARCHES, I've ggoled reviews, I've done it all and nothing. Thanks for the usless reply. A soft bag is not an option, FYI I have the Club Glove last bag, and it takes up more room in the trunk than my co-workers hard cases. fool.gif

My sentiments exactly. He said nothing in the first post about "hundreds of searches" or the soft bag "not being an option" or that he already had the Club Glove, so what is anyone to think?

That's not what this forum is supposed to be about. Almost everyone here tries to give solid advice or opinions when asked, so that's what I offered. If you want specific information, you have to ask specific questions or give more detailed background information, that's elementary Q & A stuff. I'm not here to have a back and forth, good luck with the case.

I'm sure I'll get flack over this post as well, but I have a SKB ATA Standard Golf Travel Case & the inside dimensions are 48" x 12". My last 46" driver was snug with the headcover on, but it still fit inside (in a ping hoofer).

How much more specific does a post have to be??? You can go through all my posts I am not quick to flame or get into online disputs, but I'm so sick of people pipeing in with the "use the search" contibution to a thread. My point is if you don't have the answer to what was requested then why chime in at all.

Thanks so much Boba, in general I'm sure most hard cases inside and out dimensions are comparable so I'm thinking that this specific case may be to small to handle my driver. I really appretiate the impute.

Cheers.
