Quite a surprise. Being a Senior, and having been fit for a new set of Ping G10 Irons with graphite shafts, to replace my Titleist blades, I now find that my 4 iron is as easy to hit as my PW. 180 yards, accurate, with that beautiful soft draw. I now believe it was the fitting, (-1/2" in length and 3* Flat LIE Angle) and not the blades vs CBs, that made the difference. That being said, I LOVE these Ping G10s and will never look back. The QUESTION is: Should I go ahead and get my 3 iron back, 21* (Which everyone told me to get rid of), or get another Hybrid 21*, (I already have an 18* Hybrid), I KNOW I can "Pure" a properly fit 3 iron. I can hit the Hybrids well, but they DON'T give me the "Warm & Fuzzies" like my irons. Don't need any Gap wedge. I'm very accurate with my existing wedge set-up. What do you all suggest? I've got room for 1 more stick. rolleyes.gif

Sorry, I just realized that I posted in the wrong place. Moderators....Please move to correct location. Thank you.

I think you've answered your own question. dntknw.gif

yeah the 3 iron gives the warm and fuzzies, but consistency over time and versatility out of the rough points to the hybrid. as you can see from my bag.
good luck

Sounds like you are into the 3 iron. Get the 3 and keep the 18 degree hybrid, stay awsy from the 21. Go with what you are comfortable with. Periodically I will throw the 3 and 4 irons back in the back versus the hybrid, they just feel different to hit and I can hit more shots with them.
