Im looking to get these for myself and just a bit hesitant to get them, due to the fact that I can try one on because there are no authorized dealers in my area? Just a little feetback from anyone reguarding how these fit and perform would be nice. Maybe even if you know someone who has them. Anything is better than nothing.
P.S. I know this is the shoe that Padraig Harrington wears.

I have a pair of the older ones. Mine are about two years old and I love them. They are really comfortable and do seem to provide great stability as well!

I own two pair of CDT Power's and one pair of the CDT Power Tour. Awesome shoe if you can find them. Black on Black are sweet. I have the originals...white, black, grey. The US site is in Modesto, CA. I went through an online dealer and they got me a pair. Got lucky and they didn't have the ones I wanted, so ended up with the CDT Power Tour for $129! Much better support than Foot Joys and I have three pair of those high-end models.

I was really wanting to see if someone was going to compare them to footjoy without my asking. Im wearing footjoys now, but think there is something better in these Hi-tec shoes for the money. Thanks.

Hi-tech used to (and may still) make inexpensive hiking boots and outdoor shoes, they were pretty good quality but just inexpensive.
I saw their golf shoes for the first time down in Myrtle beach over the weekend, from looking at them they looked decent, it was just odd to see that name in a higher dollar product.

They made some Snake Eyes shoes for Golfsmith, and they don't look half bad. The actaul Hi-Tec shoes look pretty good. The ones I have tried on were comfy and light. Seem like pretty good shoes.

I just bought a pair last week. Keep in mind that these are different than other Hi-Tec shoes. They seem to have an arch on both the inside and outside of each foot. I guess that's to help keep you from swaying. The performance is very good. I do seem to be more consistent with my drives, but the double-arch is not all that comfortable. I think once I get used to it, it'll be ok.
I tried on both these shoes and the new Nike Air Tour TW 8.5's. The Nike's were much more comfortable...literally like walking on air. But when I hit balls on a launch monitor wearing each pair of shoes, the Hi-Tecs gave me much better performance. I hit the balls a little longer and more consistently straighter than with the Nike's. So, I'm sacrificing some comfort for what I hope will be better scores. Anything to save a stroke or two...
