Well guys I sold my Taylor Made staff bag, have a Ping Hoofer Xtreme with my sticks in it now, it is a little outdated and definately not roomy enough coming from a TP staff bag, so what new bag on Ping's lineup is the best? I normally ride 90 percent of the time, yet I dont want the bulkyness of the staff bag, so how is the new Latitude? It claims to have a 10 inch top and plenty of room in it, only reason I need stand legs is for the range and etc and I am not dropping 350 on their new staff bag for sure as much as I change clubs unless I can find one under 300......... what is everyone using as I am about to make a purchase and knew I could count on you guys here for some opinions!

thanks

Their 9.5" staff bag without logos is $219 at Edwin Watts.

Take a serious look at the PING Trailblazer. GPP has it for $59.99 now. I bought one a few weeks ago, it is a great cart bag.

I have hed the new Lattitude for 4 months now and think it is my favorite bag of all time.
Snag one, you won't be sorry.

I have a 2008 and as far as I can see the differences are the logos are larger and embroidered rather than silk-screened and the adjustment strap for the legs is back again on the 2008 bags. Both are nice "upgrades" over the 2007.

I also own a Latitude bag, I like having a bigger bag for travel and cart use but don't like cart bags. The Latitude fits the bill all the way around. I carry most rounds so my Hoofer is my main bag but I like the extra room in the Latitude so I may give that a try and see how it carries compared to the Hoofer. I think Ping missed the mark with the putter well though, it's just a bit too small with a headcover.

I used to have a Ping and Titleist staff bags. This blows all of them away (full sleeves for each club, putter well, great pockets, etc.). I know it is not a Ping, but it is worth the look.

Have you seen the new Freestyle? I like the look of it, seems like a great bag, although I'm using an Ogio Vaporlite now. The Freestyle looks like it has great pockets, stand, and the same straps as the Hoofer. I'm only concerned with having 3 dividers, worried about having my clubs tangled getting in and out.

I looked at a Freestyle but it really isn't significantly lighter than the Hoofer and to me, that would be the only reason to buy something other than the Hoofer for a primary carry bag. Plus, the wild color schemes aren't really my thing.

I think the Ping Latitude would be the perfect bag for you. I had one in my hand at the PGA Tour Superstore walking to the register to pay for it and then the OGIO Edge caught my eye. I decided on the Edge mainly because of the Woode system. The Latitude is a really nice bag though, very roomy for a "carry" bag.
