Whichever fits your foot better.

Seriously.

My flip flops fit my foot great, does that mean I should play golf in them?

Seriously.

okay lets get back to the original topic. obviously you should buy the one that fits best; but in terms of traction, comfort, etc., which gets your vote?

Personally, The tour 360's are the best shoe I have played. They feel slike running shoes on, which may sound wierd, but I practice/play a lot of the time in my sneakers. The fit feels very snug.
Above the clouds
I haven't worn SP-8's but I have had 3 pairs of Nike shoes over the last three years and they have all been great shoes. I bought a pair of Adidas Tour 360 II's last week and wore them out this morning for the first time. They are the best golf shoes I have ever worn period! The are superb straight out of the box, the comfort is like playing in trainers as has been stated upthread.

Basically to my mind after only one round you can't go wrong with the 360's. yahoo.gif

By far the best shoes on the market are the TW8 with the Power Channel Sole they are like wearing running shoes! They are the only shoe i can take out of the box and walk 18 in!

My last set of shoes were Nike SP6's (strike that; they're SP7's). Pretty happy with them as they were comfy right out of the box and no blisters in my first rounds.

Wanted a second pair in white but decided to try the tour 360's based on all of the hype here and am somewhat disappointed.

It is clear I will need a band aid or two for the first few rounds. I usually wear an 11 or 11W and I always get golf shoes in 11W but these shoes are still narrow (which is surprising because I really like the fit of all my other Adidas gear). The Adidas will need a break in period... The Nikes were great to go right out of the box.

My only complaints about the Nike is short laces with tight lace path (somewhat a pain to open the shoe up for taking them on and off) and that the soles are quite complicated and REALLY pick up the course in soft conditions (they're a b**** to clean). The Adidas sole is much simpler and easier to clean.

The Nike's also feel a bit more substantial in terms of the materials they're made out of.

Note that I am pretty much an Adidas fan and this is the first offering I have bought from them in some time that did not live up to expectations, but they are not so bad that I will be sending them back. I thought about for a while when I first got them but wearing them around the house for a few days helped to make them a bit more comfy.

I do still feel (contrary to popular opinion around here) that the Nike is more comfy and seems better built.

I have both the 360 and TW8 for this season.

TW8 is looser fit all around but quite stuffy inside

360 is a snugger fit and not as stuffy inside..

Both are very stable during swing and comfortable to walk in.. I prefer the 360 over the TW8 though..

both good can't go wrong with either
