It was the 8200 yard course called Antler Creek. One of the par 5's was like 700 yds. The company I work for built it in 04', but I had never went out there before. They didnt have markers on the tips (tournaments only) but they let my group have a go from the blacks. If any of you long hitters ever have the chance, play it.

Too crazy man. There's a thin line between having a vision and having a hallucination, and for me, this is the latter.
Leave it to the pros for this!

While it's long, it is played at elevation. We have courses at sea level playing to 7500-7600 yards. Just trying to say that while its a big number, it probably plays shorter than the yardage.

Well I hope so. Does anyone remember how long that Kinderlow Forest(spelling??) played on the Nationwide Tour?

We played at several mountain courses in New Mexico, elevation 6,000' to just under 7,000'
and a 7,700 yards there played shorted than a 6,900 yards course close to the Sea level.
Hope you guys had fun and scored well.

The distance increase is about 10% as compared to sea level, so if you took off 10% of the total yardage it would be around a 7300/7400 yard links style course at elevation. Just seeing the 8000 yard number is crazy though.

Wow, I'd like to play there someday... and only with irons
So how long will it take the average round to finish?
