Maybe a wierd topic.
I know triangles are for eagles, circles are for birds, and squares are for bogeys.
When you score your cards, do you do double squares for doubles?
All I do is circle the birdies, nothing else. makes them stand out for me

I'm the same way as "emc". Circle the birdies and do nothing to the rest. Anything under par gets the circle.

for those people that can't keep their score in their head., yes 2 squares for doubles. At least that's the way they do it for tv purposes for tour events.

I do circles for birdies, squares for bogeys, two squares for doubles. On the rare occassion I get an eagle, I circle it like 20 times

so of us actually turn our scorecards in at the scorer's table.

i actually just write the # above (usually) par i shot, or a -1 if i had a birdie, -2 for an eagle, then i just add across to get a score... so my front 9 might look like this:
0, 1, 2, 2, 1, 0 , 0, -1, 1 = i was 6 over....

ok, i only play comp rounds, so i only write down the shots it took, and i don't circle, square, octaganol anything. If anything, i try to keep it into perspective that hey, i might of had a good hole, or a bad one, but it is the overall round that counts and thus don't get caught up in a bad hole. Forgetting is a good thing

im just wondering for the sake of what looks good on the score card. i shot the round of my life (in a PAT) and wanted to frame it. I think I may just leave the birds circled, it looks a little cleaner. thanks guys.

Fair enough, if your framing it. Well done & congratulations, as well!
