Here is the situation I encountered last weekend.
1. Hit my drive in maybe OB.
2. Hit my provisional ball and it went OB.
3. Hit my second provisional ball down the fairway.
First ball was lost so I hit my 2nd provisional ball from the fairway onto the green. I then 2-putted.
What will be my score for this hole? Thanks.

lost your 1st ball.
Playing 3 from the tee.
loose 1st provisional your then playing 5 from the tee.
5 into the fairway onto the green is 6
then 2 putts.
i make that 8.
