I've acquired some new JL items since i posted last, so rather than put it in the JL Collections Thread, I thought I'd post all of my golfing clothes, and hope to see some of your guys too. No hating, no discriminating please.

Don't you find your JL shirts get some ugly "wear" marks in them around the shoulder straps and lower back where the back pad is when you carry?
Mine are horrible...so I won't be buying JL shirts anymore. (Shame as I like the style).
I find the Burberry and Hugo Boss shirts wear much better (as in no wearing out) and have some pretty nice styles as well. I'll stick to those brands for my fashion gear...for regular play I still think one can't go wrong with Nike.

I really like Adidas Clima Cool shirts. A ton of different styles and not too hard on the wallet. I'll post some pics of my actual closet as it's where all my golf gear is!

Well, here it goes. Hope no one calls me on my lack of style. Now realize, besides golf, everything else I wear is either from Wal-Mart or something I found here in the PI that fits.
For polos, I wear Under Armour. The material worked great in Iraq, so why mess with a good thing.
For shorts, I wear Dockers. Why, no idea. They look nice to me.
For my belt, a canvas special such as you find on military khaki uniforms.
For socks, well, whatever fits and is white.
Shoes, I wear hand made sandals to the course, but Foot Joy on the course.
Underwear, well, that is none of your business.
Hope this helps. Your stuff by the way does look nice, but a bit too colorful for me. Then again, like I said, no one has ever accused me of having any sense of style.

Funny you said that as I had family in the textile business in the phillipines and even in highschool I wore XL shirts, they would send me Fila, fred perry (old school) etc to me as gifts and the Xl's fit like a med.

I know this is hidden somewhere on this website but I couldnt find it by searching.. I've heard JL shirt sizing gets weird.. I am a Medium adidas and most other shirts, Small Ashworth,.. what size JL should I buy?
hbear
Nov 1 2007, 08:41 PM
JL sizing is the same for me.
It tapers a bit more...perhaps that's why some feel the sizing is off.
Dunno, I have an athletic build and don't notice any difference in sizing of JL compared to Burberry/Hugo Boss/Nike/Etc.

burberry polo on the colder days and tw, ashworth, lacoste, on the warmer days.
The burberry polos are thicker from what ive noticed and get really hot in the dog days of the summer so i only wear them when its colder.
I havent had a chance to get a hold of any JL stuff around the northwest and i would like to see/try them before i buy them from an online retailer.

Nothing too fancy for me. A local shop went under last year and I got about 10 or 12 IZOD "G-cool" polos for about $17 a piece. Pair them with Nike Dri-Fit Tour flat front shorts.
Under Armor boxer-briefs are made for golf (sorry, too much info I know, but it's true!)
White socks (yeah, so what) with FJ Contour saddles. Have some microfiber pants for Fall golf. Under Armour cold gear top/leggings for warmth. Sun Ice wind/rainproof windshirts.
Anyone know which companies make moisture-wicking hats aside from Nike? I got one at a resort with the resort's logo that I love. Never get sweat rings on my hat and stay cool in the heat. Don't necessarily want a big swoosh on my head.

Yup Under Armour has the moisture wicking hats...and they feel like a normal "cotton" ballcap but breathe like their heat gear.

Written Previously: For me, most of my polos are from Express, they're simple, good colors, cool lion logo, with a good euro/athletic fit. Looks like Nitties from the newest BB likes them as well. Im also trying to pic up some JL's, preferably the Lachlan to start. As for pants, they are from Express as well, pair of whites, blacks, khakis, and grey plaids. Them pants got a great fit. Shorts are dockers right now, white, black, an khaki. Im looking to pic up some flat front shorts over christmas maybe, might go with sub seventy. I also wear my AE plaid shorts every now and again to mix it up. Not much else besides my JL slaters, one black, one white. Pics to come shortly.
This is what I got:
Shirts: Express (also picked up a striped dark green and orange, which are similar to the striped blue and yellow seen in the pic).
Sweater: Express.
Pants: Express, white, black, khaki, grey plaid.
Belts: J. Lindeberg Slater, one black, one white.

I love fashion and bright colors. However, I'm relatively new to golf so my golf wardrobe is very weak at this point. Currently I have like 5 RL Polo shirts, a couple of nike shirts, and some polo and nike shorts. You guys wardrobes are making me drool.
