Hi folks. Thanks for all the good responses in the previous post.
Anyway, I've been designing putter covers for a while now because, well, I'm a design-nerd and (sadly) it's fun for me. It's kind of a little side hobby of mine. I just make them for myself and my friends in my golf club. I enjoy it and thought some of the members here might enjoy taking a look-see.
Anyway, I just wanted to show off my labor of love to my fellow putter junkies. I've got tons more template ideas, color-ways, fasteners, embroidery, and linings that I want to try out in the future and I'm thinking about making some matching covers for my woods. But they're kind of time-consuming to make so I don't do it too often.
This one's kind of a throw-back style made with some modern glossy materials to make it 'pop.' Let me know what you think!
Peace,
Tracy

Not bad I do have one suggestion for you, see where you have your stripes and you have one stitch in the center to hold it. Unless the sides are glued they will eventually snag. I suggest sewing on both sides and either doing a single over lap top stitch to finish it off or do a set of french seam shown in this pic on my shift boots and the seams on my upholstery.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sewing along the edges was definitely part of the plan initially. Unfortunately, didn't turn out that way on this one. In future covers, I'm definitely doing it a little different. Those french seems are really cool. I might have to try that out!
YW,
Just make sure you put seam backing behind it to give it some support. Here is a close up a french seam.

Looks a tad like a varsity letter jacket from high school.
I would not like the shine in the material too.
Just a little advice.
Thanks for the picture though

i like it!!..i would like to see it with red stitching though i think that would look pretty sick...and it looks easy to take care of, a little armor all and its good as new! nice work.

Most of the members of my golf team use ones that look just like this. Danny Zuko found them.

Yes, I've named this cover, "Grease Lightning." Thanks.
The 'R' is for 'Roketo,' my design company. Perhaps, I should have used a different color scheme for this one as it's unintentionally causing some flashbacks for some members.

That was my first thought, but it is nice work. Use some "richer" colors, and it would look great.

I thought at first it was a R for Rudgers! Rudgers vs Bulls currently..... a cinderella story

This design is supposed to have that old-school varsity feeling. I'm glad that came through!
Thanks for all the comments. The next one I'm doing is the polar opposite of this one. I'll post a pic when I'm finished with it.
