Anyone try these $20 Radio Shack/Ezonic digital rangefinders that they sell on eBay? How accurate are these things...they see, like a bargain if they work.

They are accurate... providing you can see the whole pin. If not, you'll have to guesstimate where the bottom of the pin is.
The closer you are the better they work as the various marked distances on the scale get further apart at distance. If you don't need exact distances from 200-250 they are better than chasing sprinklers... but ya get what ya pay for.
BTW... some folks have said here that pins are not of standard height on many courses they play. Don't think I have ever seen that but if that's the case on the tracks you play you should probably save your money for a laser rangefinder or a GPS.
