My opinion about these tees....
There's a sucker born every minute......
What?? I'll hit my drives 294 yards instead of 293???

FWIW, I use them, not because they add distance.........that's just stupid, but I don't break them. I usually put two in my pocket to start a round, and put the same to back in the bag when I'm done.

They just take longer to put the ball on the tee. No added distance for me.

These things are awesome...if you're needing to clean your grooves, but that's about it. They almost break underneath the weight of the ball, are virtually worthless if there's a breeze out, and not exactly user-friendly if you're one of those rare folks who puts their tees in their pockets and likes NOT having holes poked in their nads.

Actually, they really are and I do have some in my bag to clean my grooves for when the wet towel isn't enough. But I'm using that tee on the next hole, where it's all but guaranteed to break.

I still have about 40 of those tees, I use them once in a while but it is difficult to keep the ball on that small head at times. I break one on each tee shot, never seen one survive for 2 holes.

I was given some. No added distance, but as a prior posted said, they don't break. I have had a small bag of these tees in my bag for a long time.

I can't believe people are saying these don't break. These snap easier than my grandmother's hip. I bought a bag and now I'm just trying to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Luckily, they usually break after one drive, two max, so I should be rid of them soon. And I agree with the previous poster about being very sharp. Every time I reach into my pocket to grab one, I feel like I'm being stabbed in the fingers and hand. They are good for cleaning grooves though.

I bought some because of the "S" stamped on them. My last name starts with an "S" :P

I bought a 1000 of the really skinny ones -- a little over 3 inches -- cheaper by the thousand.
They're sharp. I put them in the ground and wiggle the tee back and forth for some "give." (and so they won't break)
As for distance, my swing is not consistent to give you an educated answer. I like putting 4 of them in my pocket and breaking one of those in half for par 3s. They're skinny, they'e light. Not bad as divot repair or groove cleaner in an emergency.
