Where are the Rife puuters offered for sale? I like this one:

I e-mailed Rife about the release date and I was told possibly mid November and no later than January 08. I did not ask about the price, but I assume they will go for the same as the current Island series putters.

Get one and send it to Slighter. They'll put a plumber's neck on it for you.

Anyone know if the Cayman will be a limited release? I think Cayman on the Rife website that it is "16 of 500" in one of the sole shots.

As others have said, no plumber's neck is disappointing.

I noticed that too. I just talked to Rife and said it will be a full release and not a limited release.

Yeah, u've got a whole series of plumber's neck putters to pick from with almost all putter makers, yet very few make a flowing/santa fe style neck - which is disappointing as I love Gauge Design and Bettinardi designs. I would be happier if it was the opposite way around where santa fe necks were more common but hey, i try not to complain too much .

Why am I so glad to still have such a unique putter in my bag! And people wonder why I have limited my putter ho'ing so much!

Emailed them as well....told me the same thing but added that the price would be $180. Wonder how many emails they received after this post appeared on Golfwrx?

For som reason, I am really starting to like this Santa Fe Style Neck on this one. Definately going to be one that is worth a try.

Is this a face-balanced putter?

I'm sure it's not (haven't confirmed with Rife or had one in hand). But most putters similar to this (TP Mills, scotty, etc) with this syle neck have a toe hang around 4-5 o'clock. So you will get some good toe flow with this putter.

I like the sound cut in the sole of this putter...I'm sure it feels sweet. I emailed a friend of mine out on the PGA Tour to see if there are any of these this week in Vegas. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

What happened to this Cayman model? This putter has terrific feel and balance. The headweight feels like it is in the 340g range.

There has been at least 3 differnt Cayman prototypes, Plumbers Neck, Santa F and this one

How much does that cost? and how long would it take for Slighter to do it?
