I'm just trying to figure out whether the John Byron JB02, the 8802 style head, is made of stainless steel or carbon. I did a google search and came up with nothing. Anybody?

There were some of both.

If it is carbon it's finished in black oxide.

You can also stick a magnet on it. If it sticks, its carbon.

Yea but even a magnet will stick lightly to SS, I know it does on a Betti DASS.
