Just interested to see what the WRX'ers on here wear to golf. If it is a competition (Wednesday/Saturday) or a tourney, I will almost always where formal trousers (Carter is the main brand that I use - whenever I go to buy a pair these are on sale (30-40% off) and I get them for less then AU$50, which is awesome), generally pinstriped and flat fronted. I find they are comfortable, light and most of all my legs don't get burnt and I don't get dry/dead grass in my socks and around my ankles.
If I am practicing or going out for a practice round and I don't wear trousers, it will generally be a nicer pair of shorts (ie Quicksilver, or something of the like).
So what do you guys wear?
Edit: To a moderator, would you be so kind as to add in none in each of the multiple choice questions, because you need at least one answer in each question and if you don't wear shorts/or pants then you can't really answer properly. Thanks a lot

Shorts for sure here during the summer... I just have some plaid shorts and whatnot...
Other than that formal trousers during the winter.
You must look classy on the course

I wear pants when it's cold. Period. If they allowed me to wear shorts in the U.S Open, I would. I have no idea why I see people wearing pants during a tournament, unless required, is just silly. I'd play worse overheating like that...

I am addicted to American Eagle Standard Khaki Shorts, They look good, are sturdy & perfectly cut for golf.
For cold weather I rock a nice boot cut khaki pair of pants.

For 98% of my rounds I wear dress shorts, the days I wear pants are when it's cold or raining, then its formal trousers.

Depends on the weather. Warmer, it's dress shorts. Windy, but not too cold, a pair of khakis. If it is cold though, or a cloudy day or whatever, then I have a nice pair of dark trousers I'll wear.

I always wear cargo shorts when I can. I use the big pockets for all kinds of stuff.

Never wear shorts. Love Penguin pants for golf, they are great and come in an array of different styles.
I dont mind people wearing shorts at all, but cargo shorts shouldnt be allowed on a golf course, just my opinion.

Cross/JL pants for the vast majority. Other than those, the majority of the pants i have are pinstripe dominant. If i run shorts to play golf in, its a dress short. Course dress code is pretty tight on shorts.

Obviously depends on the weather.
Shorts during the late spring/summer
Trousers/Khakis during the early spring/late fall/winter
I guess it also depends where I'm playing...if I'm alone on a weekday at my local muni, I really don't have to go all out.
If I'm a Saturday guest at my friend's private club, then I have to make sure I don't embarrass anyone, especially myself!

Under Armour shorts when the it's above 75 and golf is not work related. Nike Golf Pants when it's cold or at a work related golf outing. Both of these type of fabric breath well and don't get a lot of wrinkles.

Hot days = flat front shorts by Polo Ralph Lauren. damn comfortable
Cold days = flat front chinos from Brooks Brothers. again, damn comfortable.
