Tittle says it all, last I heard he was going to reopen shop in San Jose, Ca. last year but never heard anything more. Anybody know?

Many on here (myself included) have emailed him direct and gotten the same response: that he would be coming out with a new line in a couple months. This has happened every couple of months for over a year. huh.gif

I think his last putters were made for Tour Stage in Japan (Bridgestone). He made three models very similar to his past issues with a copper insert (Exposed) two blade models and a mallet. I used to have quite a collection of his putters but over time I just started to sell them because he kind of dropped of the map. But his putters were always well made and felt great.

Yep, deffinately great stuff in the past but I had always heard his attention to detail was going to be his undoing... to much of a perfectionist to let things go. He would really be a great canidate for a Nike high end line, even if it's just limited release, but I don't think that's gonna hapen as he already has gone through proto's for the swoosh with nothing coming out of it.

His hidden copper inserts were amazing, you could not even tell there was an insert there. You know that took some time getting it like that, so when you mention his attention to detail was going to be his undoing, I kinda seen your point. I have never seen another putter maker do that hidden copper insert were you could not even tell an insert was there. Those were incredible putters and they looked and felt awesome. The only thing I never cared for with his putters were they were all 330G and 35". Maybe if he starts up again he will start making some heavier heads and 33" models. I hope he does come back and give Scotty or Bettinardi a Run for their money, that is if he is with a Major manufacturer.
