Hey All, I'm going to be playing a St. Andrews reproduction at a very nice course in South Orlando next week. My question is: when making my approach to a yellow or white flag on a double green, does etiquette recuire me to wait for the other group on the opposite flag to putt out? Thanks in advance for any help.

Was this the New Course at Grand Cypress?

If so, those greens are HUGE, and sometimes the other flag (and group) is so far away that it's not much of an issue. If there's any question, then you ought to wait.

I play a course that has 2 huge double greens, and nobody waits for the other group to putt out. They're 75 yards away.
