I think that is 1018 carbon steel, not stainless
The german stainless steel is for putters being sold in Japan

Grinding and shaping . I asked what the finished weight was going to be and Byron said 350 grams. It still weighs around 370 right now

WOW.. that is an awesome putter! Before this post i've been skeptical for this whole "handmade" concept.. but this has changed my mind 360! How much does it weigh and how does it feel?? I like Scotty's because i know they feel great.. now im curious.. any feedback on these?

That is the definition of "handmade"; nothing about that putter is stock; zippo. Don't bother to ask about the price unless you really want one cuz it's gonna hurt.
