Oukk,
I purchased the Bushnell Medalist about a month ago after my sky caddie SG4 went kaput. I must admit that I enjoy using the Medalist a lot more. I no longer haver to wait for the signal to lock in and I can take it to any driving range and get accurate measurements to whatever target I choose. Don't get me wrong I am not knocking the sky caddy as it is a very useful device but IMHO I feel like the Bushnell suits me better. My brother has the Bushnell 1500 slope edition and there really isn't much of a difference between the two I paid $299 and he paid $449. My advice is get to use them and see which one best suits you and go for it you won't regret it.

I purchased mine through the BST's here and LOVE it. So much better than my friends sky caddy just because you can measure any distance. I love using it at ranges and it is super accurate out on the course.

not really...i have never really used it. but would definitely like to use it

I also have the 1500 pinseeker with slope edition and its top notch...would recommend it to anyone even for $450.
You buy a driver for $400 which helps only your driving...pay $450 and buy a piece of equipment that helps every club in your bag
as well as gives you the confidence over every shot that you got the right stick in your hands..how if it only measured wind speed lol

I have a Medalist too!

It's the best Rangefinder I've ever used. The Pinseeker feature is wonderful.

About a month ago, I got hooked up with a guy who was using his Medalist. It turned out it was a gift from his son, who is an engineer for Bushnell. His son told him that the Medalist is one of the best Rangefinders that Bushnell makes. It has the same electronics as the higher priced lasers, just wrapped in a different package.

When you think about it, it makes sense. Why would they reinvent the wheel for every model?

Anyway, I love mine.

YMMV
