In a constant effort to further advance the quality and performance of Stinger tees, a number of improvements have been made for 2007:


The cups of the new Stinger tees have been cut slightly deeper. Now, the golf ball does not touch the bottom of the cup, but instead sits only on the sides, which further reduces drag and spin as the ball leaves the Stinger tee platform.


A new proprietary water based finish creates a super slick surface on the new Stinger tee, which has been proven to further reduce spin by approximately 3%.


The tip of the new Stinger tee has been made longer and sharper to penetrate and "bite" the ground quicker. This allows golfers to more easily use the full height of the tee.

I'm not here to tout the distance and drag aspects of Stinger Tees because if I'm not mistaken, testing has shown that it's all nonsense.

But I love these tees. Skinny and super sharp, they are so easy to set-up. I get consistent ball-height which is the most important thing for my game off the tee. My only complaint is that if you're a nervous person, it can sometimes be challenging when you're trying to get that ball teed up when your hands are shaking, especially if you haven't had your coffee that morning!
