Only one I've played is Nags Head Golf Links. 4 1/2 stars from GD. Pretty nice layout. Ton of sand in a links layout.

duck woods should be last on your list.

1. currituck club
2. nags head golf links
3. sea scape

Currituck Club's green complexes are under construction, otherwise It would be the first place I'd recommend.

SeaScape is ok, it's the only other course actually in the Outer Banks I've played.

Three other places on the mainland before the bridge: Kilmarlic, Carolina Club, and The Pointe are very nice, and I'd recommend them in that order. Kilmarlic's just a step behind Currituck Club, in my opinion.

Like I told Carl, anytime but this week Duck Woods would be my #1, but we just punched the greens on Tuesday so they are wrecked for a week or two.

I'd say Carolina Club in Grandy is the best for quality and value. Nags Head is also worth playing, although it's not my favorite layout - get a yardage book...you'll need it.

I stayed in a house on Seascape and played it a few times this August and thought the course was in pretty good shape. I have tons of experience on the 16th since our house overlooked the tee wink.gif We got put with a single who played the Nags Head Golf Links earlier in the week and raved about the course. I would stay away from the driving range at mile post 0. They have the worst floater range balls.

Enjoy the trip.
