I've heard that you're only allowed to play Bethpage once per month. Is this true? I have a tee time on Wednesday, but would also like to play Monday, as I am coming in from out of town. Thanks for any insight.

Yes, there is a limit. I don't know about in state, but out of state its only once per month through the reservation system.

I registered in June and played there by the end of June. I wasn't able to make another tee time until July.

I guess you can try and get on the 2nd time as a walk up or sleep in your car?

Yes, it is only the black that there is limit. The next best is the red if you want to play that too.

That won't work because when you register you give a copy of your driver's license. They check your license when you check in for your round, so it has to match what's in the system.

I showed up at Bethpage today (the Black was open today) early this morning around 5am, got the first tee time out and our foursome finished in 3 hours and 10 minutes. There was availability well into the later morning hours. Anyone could have showed up with a foursome and gotten on easy, without sleeping in a car. Course is in great shape, greens a little slow though.
