Hey all,
I played Sierra Star G.C. while vacationing in Mammoth a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to share some pictures with you because this course is BEAUTIFUL. Some of the views are incredible and the carved wooden bears that are all over the course are pretty cool. They have them fishing in the lakes around the course and one is sitting on the toilet by the restrooms (avatar). I also included a picture of Rainbow Falls, the Devils Postpile & June lake. The Devils Postpile / Rainbow Falls hike was about a 3.5 mile hike to get down there and it is was an amazing hike. Hopefully you will enjoy the pics.

Love them! My son is camping with his Grandpa at June Lake this weekend.

You're right, it is beautiful. It reminds me of one of the courses on the Links 2000 golf game.

I just played this course as well in early August while up there for a long weekend. It's hard to believe that this course is in the middle of town surrounded by homes but when you are on the course it does not feel that way. It is a great design and fun to play since you have to shape a lot of your shots to avoid the tree-lined fairways.

Probably my favorite course of all time! Plus I get to play it again next week after a year of waiting. HD Pics to come.....
