just picked up some cedar shoe tree's while on break. going to put them in my new tour 360 II's. any tips on how long to keep them in, or how well these work?
abewley
they are for true leather shoes and are meant to help dry them out faster while keeping there shape.

don't know if they help with the more athletic type shoes.

are tour 360 II's true leather or athletic?
Sideways
Regardless of what your shoes are made out of - cedar shoe trees are a good idea because they will absorb
any moisture that's left over and give the shoes a shape to conform to as they dry. They also absorb odors.

Your 360's have a fabric lining and that needs to dry out as well as the leather. I even put shoe trees in my Tech Feathers, which have the fabric lining and a mesh/synthetic upper.

The first few hours after you take the shoes off are most important. If you don't have shoe trees with you, at least stuff your shoes with some paper.

I use cedar shoe trees on all my shoes (including non-leather golf shoes). They do a great job keeping the inside dry and I feel that they prolong the life of the shoes itself.

I agree, I have some that I keep in all my shoes. $13 makes the shoes last much longer, and they don't get curly toes after a while like some shoes.

One word of caution. If you are going to use cedar shoe trees you have to be a least a little anal.

I tend to be the same way about all of my equipment as well.

In addition to cedar shoe trees I would recommend brushing off any loose grass and dirt after every round, using a brush and saddle soap to clean them after several rounds or when visibly muddy and applying a polish 2-3 times a year.

I can't tell you how many times I have had people ask if my 4 year old pair of shoes were new. More often than not you could not tell the original color of their shoes due to the accumulated muck and grime. Spending a little time taking care of your equipment will pay off in extra years of use.
