I know everyone says that those shoes are comfortable, and they better be because they really are FUGLY in my opinion.

these are really ugly, even the tigers, how much is it to ask for simplicity in a shoe, i hate all that detail, thats why im gonna wear all white Footjoy classics or the sp-8 all white tigers

I like the look of the new line of shoes. A few leave something to be desired, but for the majority sake they aren't bad looking at all.

I really like how nike is looking at a more radical design instead of your basic design around the swoosh. Not that I do not like the huge swoosh =) but I believe this will open the door to traditional crowd.

^ I have owned several pairs of Nike shoes, and they have never come close to fall apart.
In fact, I love them.

I actually like most of the looks-just wasn't a fan to the square toes even though I have a pair of white and a pair of black Tw8s. They are comfortable, but I don't like the toe. In fact I was looking to some of the new Dryjoys but these may change my mind and make me wait.

I like classic Foot Joys, more modern Adidas Tour 360 - but I also like 75% of the new Nike collection 08

I don't expect Nike to try to compete with the Classic style of Footjoys and Ecco - so this new line will be a hit in my view

They should probably make a line with a more round toe to go with their square toe, so they could reach the guys with big toes, who can't walk with shoes with too square a front toe.
I'll probably buy these next season to go along with my 5 pair of Tour 360:

Some of those are ok (ish).
as an aside - anyone else had problems with Nike shoes? I bought an expensive pair of sp 6 tour shoes, and after 6 rounds the right shoe split along the seam of the air bubble at the back. Can you believe I didn't keep the purchase receipt ?
Grrr.

usually they're pretty good with their product returns on shoes.
here in oregon, you can get away with murder with returns to nike, but that may be because we're so close to the HQ. who knows.
have you tried taking them into the shop you bought them from?

For my feet, Nike's are the most comfortable shoe. But, I really wish Nike would dump the air cushion. I've popped two of them in running shoes and will never by an air cushion product again because of that.

Personally, I think that the SP-8 TW has the best performance in golf shoes. The power platform works great; grip and support is the best I have encountered (out performs my Tour 360II and ECCO Classic Saddle GTX). My fore foot stays so secure during my entire swing even on a severe side hill hook lie in 4 inch rough when I have to make a full swing with my hybrid.
The 2 reasons I am not wearing them lately:
1) The square toe looks really out of place when I am wearing shorts in the summer months, the 360s looks so much better;
2) There is not toe protection from wear, the area on the front of the toe in the right shoe is worn out only after 3 months of play (on course and driving range).
If Nike is hearing, please address the above issues on your next release and they will sell like crazy!!!!

Yes, I would, but since the shop is in Orlando, and I am in Scotland, that doesn't really work for me..

I thought Nike were comfortable 'til I bought adidas. But the reason I quote you is that air cushion product... it is terrible. I had one shoe go on me this year in the beginning of my round. The cushion flattens right out and compresses, then you find you're walking on this very hard disk under your heel.
I personally will not buy another air cushion Nike shoe until they improve it. Nice -looking- shoes though.

Not a bad looking shoe but I am not a fan of showing the stitching. And I don't like the center stitching down the toe. The rest of the shoe I think is pretty cool. If these were plain without all the stitching these would have been the best golf shoe Nike has made.

I like the black ones up top, those look decent. It'll take a lot to tear me away from Adidas though. I bought a second pair this year and they are very comforable. FJ's suck. I bought Dryjoy pro's, they were dry but my heels were killing me. I figured it was just the walking... til I got the Adidas. Not sure I even want to take that chance again.
