Crossville has a few nice courses, Bear Trace is awesome... Deer Creek also is a nice course right off of interstate 40 really fast greens!!!! Willow Creek, Ruggles Ferry in Knoxville are pretty nice as well...

Has anyone ever played either of the Heatherhurst courses? Those are the two affiliated with the resort we are staying and my brother in law is trying to talk me into those because they are cheap. Would it be a waste of time to play those courses? I am a 6 handicap so I generally like to play good if not great courses.

Rarity Bay in Vonore, TN is my favorite. http://www.raritybay.com/baygolf.htm

My in-laws have a house in the Glade and there are some amazing course's that are very reasonable right now. Any of the Glade courses are worth playing. Check out www.fairfieldglade.com.

Enjoy

I live in Nashville. The best in the Crossville area are:
1. Stonehenge (word of warning. Course is ALWAYS CPO)
2. Bear Trace
3. Heatherhurst. (1 of the 2 courses there is nicer than the other, but I can't remember which.)
