For those of you in North America, who among you maintains an Overseas Golf Membership in the UK, particularly Scotland?

What club and what is the annual cost?

For those in the UK (Scotland in particular) does your club offer this option and where can I find more information on it?

Just looking for some info and direction to listings of clubs that offer them. I have a found a few but I we are looking for more options.

Myself and a few cousins (all have Scottish ancestry) are thinking of joining together as a family thing.

Kind of quirky but it is something we want to do to link us as we all live all over the world but would like to maintain a golf membership at the same club. This is an economical solution and seems appropriate.

Might actually be easier to write to clubs you're interested in and get the info from them. I believe that a number of clubs have overseas memberships though. For some reason, I want to say Royal Dornoch has one, not sure of the cost though.

The prestigious clubs in Scotland will offer international membership, same here in Ireland.
