^^IF you can get on. Saw the new stuff this morning. $72 for a putter cover? $82 for a polo shirt? Ridiculous. I love my Scotty putter, but I am getting a big fed up with his business practices.

But I'm sure they'll be sold out within the hour. Like I said, I have the site tabbed in another browser window, and can't even connect.

i added one to my cart and was going to part with the 72 bucks, but just thought i'd rather not.

I share your sentiments. It is tough to spend that much on something that is really a glorified sock. I only buy the covers that I would actually use (Vegas and Hula). SC is really starting to cater to the collectors market these days.

It's sad, they're milking it for all it's worth though.

I just can't believe they won't pony up and put the actual tournament name on the head cover.

It's made even worse by the fact they keep putting out this pretty sub-standard product that comes across as ugly and cheesy.

I just checked the site and all that they have left is small sized shirts. Not that I would have bought anything in my XL size but I wanted to see just for kicks.

Make sure you pick up a few pictures of Scotty for $72.

Like I said, I love my Cameron putter, but come on. These people are like sheep. "Gotta buy it, it'll go up in value, gotta buy it, it'll go up in value."

Scotty is like the major trading card companies. He purposely short-stocks items so they'll be collectible, and thus his "mystique" lives on.

Do you think Nike would release "super limited-edition Tiger Woods" shirts? What has Scotty done except make some great putters? Certainly not as much as Tiger has done. Ridiculous.

I couldn't agree more. I would not buy something just to collect it. If I buy it I am going to use it. If it becomes a collectors edition later on down the road, then so be it. I have the same attitude with autographs. If it isn't on a check made out to me, I could care less about a signed picture, ball, glove or whatever.

This is the very reason I do not own any of Scotty's stuff...everything he makes is simply way overpriced.
