Hey All,

I work for Military Advantage,
www.military.com. We are the largest Military/Veteran affinity/benefit site on Internet. We help service members in all aspects of their lives.

I recently noticed the PGA Tour holds an event called 'The Veterans Championship'. I really want to get my company involved with this as I love golf and would love it if my hobby and my work could work together for the same cause.

My question to you all is this: does anyone here have a contact with this tournament or the PGA that I could talk to? Any and all help would be appreciated by not only myself, but all those at my company and those we strive to help on a daily basis.

Thanks in advance.
James

hey all,

wanted to bump this up as the tourney is for a good cause and if anyone can lead me in the right direction with a contact to speak with that would be great and only good things can come out of it.

thanks,

I don't know if you or your company is legit, but doing "business" over internet message boards is not the proper method. The PGA is not some secret org that you need someone to "reach out" to, to get in contact with. Your post IMHO is borderline..........

You should be able to contact the PGA or tournament directly. I've never heard of them not returning a phone call to anybody.

Ouch. Little rough there man. We are 'reaching' out the the tournament as well, but as a member of this board/site I wanted to see if any other members might assist in this. A lot of business gets done by 'who you know' or personal contacts instead of 'cold calling' and PR releases.

I assure you my company is legit. We have over 11 million members and Monster.com owns us. We help Veterans find jobs, help them use their benefits for college educations, as well as helping disabled vets get treatment and medical care. I do not own the company, I am just a marketing guy over here trying to spread the word to all.

And a lot of people do business over the boards. Don't just throw up a negative reply because I bumped the thread of an important topic for the heck of it :s that is not the spirit of this board, or this post topic. Heck, people bump threads about selling a headcover and they don't get negative attcks/replies like that.

The tournament was originally scheduled to be in Fresno, CA in October and called the Veteran's Championship, but it was moved to Port St. Lucie, FL and renamed the Ginn Classic at Tesoro.
