Hello everyone. I want to purchase a push cart for my BB NXO revolver bag. I am considering the Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1 or the Clicgear one. As I have not seen any of them in reality, I was hoping owners with those combinations would share their experience with me. I must add that I favor the Clicgear cart because it seems to occupy so little volume once folded but the SM one seems to come with more options. Any advice ? Thanks in advance.

I have the V1 and LOVE IT! I just got it a few weeks ago and I use it when I play after work during the work week. On weekends you pretty much have to ride around here (North Carolina). The V1 comes with an air pump and umbrella holder. There is a small storage net by the handle too. Mine is grey/silver with black wheels and looks cool (too me). I would highly recommend getting one of these if you can.

After reading TONS and tons on both, playing around with both in the store, I went with the clicgear and haven't looked back. Clicgear is infinitely easier to fold/unfold (the video instructions for folding and unfolding HERE don't exaggerate in the slightest) and I thought it was just a smidge-bit more stable. If you want a seat to attach to the side...ride. wink.gif The brake system on the clicgear also wins, hands-down. Also, I'm not a fan of SunMountain's new friction retention setup. I like the security of the elastic bands. rolleyes.gif All that said, the V1 is a solid choice. There's plenty of reason it's been top dog for a while. The console design is a little bit better in my opinion, and the headcover net is a very nice feature--more handy that I'd have originally thought. But for me, clicgear was really the easy choice. But your mileage may vary.

How much smaller does the Clic Gear Cart fold up than the Sun Mountain Speed Cart?

Man, those carts are all so expensive. Are they really better than the 3-wheeled push carts you can get at Dick's for $60? Mine seems perfectly fine...and I've never gotten a flat tire, since the wheels are plastic.

I second that question. BTW, I want to thank everyone for their answers. I must add that I play one to two rounds per week. I always walk and never ride. Which one would be sturdier on the long run?

The clicgear cart is 1/2 the size of a Sun Mountain or even smaller. If you look at my avatar you see that I drive. The clicgear cart fits in the trunk no problem. I my opinion the clicgear cart is way better. Don't get me wrong the Sun Mountain carts are great, but size and stabilty make the Clicgear a winner. I also found that the clicgear cart can be had much cheaper than the Sun Mountain.

Get a clicgear- it is an easy choice.

So clicgear it will be. Are you sure it fits the NXO revolver ? When you say that "the clicgear cart can be had much cheaper than the Sun Mountain" would you mind telling me where ? BTW, cool car. Wifey drives one and I had the Worx kit put in. I love it ;-) But let's not turn this into a mini fan thread ;-)

Well retail price is $189. This is cheaper than the new V1 or V2 sun mountain carts.

I went to Nevada Bob's in Minneapolis and they were selling for $179. THey also had sales of $20 off any cart or bag when I bought mine + a second coupon of $10 off any purchase so I got mine for $149.

You also can find coupons for 10% -15%off or even 20% off that will get it down to around 150-160.

If you are patient and do some internet searching for coupons the deals can be had.
