I'll be realistic with my budget and travel constraints. I've already played one of them thanks to Tachus. He got me on the Foxwoods Casino course, Lake of Isles, that was awesome.

I'd like to do...

#1 Bethpage Black - It's only 3 hrs. from me
#2 Newport National - Links course, very tough, right on the ocean, 1hr. from me
#3 Doral - It's less than an hour from our shop in Florida. I go there 5-6 times a year and I play with my boss here all the time
#4 TPC Sawgrass - Again, right near the shop in Florida
#5 Was the Casino course but I'll replace it with Pinehurst. My buddy has an apt. still right near there. He lives up here now but goes down a lot. He's played it twice. That would be a good early spring road trip.

I want to go play Rustic Canyon. Adam Mull said the course was in great shape. I will play from the tips using a modern driver and Pro V1X to spite Shackelford. I'll carry every dogleg and bomb and gouge my way through the course to ensure that I don't play it is the architect intended. I'll also leave a dook in the men's room and not flush.

I need to play Dragon Ridge. The reviews of the driving range and locker rooms are top notch. Samm980 gave it two thumbs up.

and to round out my 5:

Augusta
St. Andrews
Pebble
pickerjohn
There is a course in Augusta, Ga. I'd love to play, the one chance I've
had got thunder stormed out.
Others would be:
Whistling Straits
Brandon Dunes
Bethpage Black
Muirfield Village (Ohio)

Wade Hampton is beautiful without a doubt, I haven't played it yet, but I have seen it many times when I am up in that area.

I hear Sage Valley really awesome as well. It stinks living in Augusta, having two of the most beautiful courses in the country here (Augusta National being the other of course), without too much of a chance of playing either.

I shouldn't complain too much. I have played TPC @ Sawgrass, Kiawah Island Ocean Course and Pinehurst #2. Those are pretty much the pinnacles that I have been fortunate enough to play.
